Have Your Say on the Future of the Mall – Public Consultation
The Mall is the heart of Castlebar – a cherished green space that brings people together, reflects our town’s heritage, and offers a place for relaxation, celebration, and connection.
Castlebar Municipal District is developing a Masterplan for the Mall, supported by Urban Regeneration and Development Fund (URDF) funding, and we want to hear from you.
We are opening a non-statutory public consultation to share the emerging design proposals and gather your views on the direction the design is taking. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of this iconic space.
Where to View the Proposals: The associated documents will be on public display and may be inspected from Thursday 30th October to Thursday 4th December 2025 (excluding weekends and public holidays) at the following location:
Castlebar Municipal District, Áras an Chontae, Castlebar, Mayo, F23 WF90 (Monday-Friday 9am-4pm)
Submissions or observations can be made in writing and addressed to:

Closing Date for Submissions or Observations is Thursday 27th November 2025 at 5pm
