Proposed Traffic Calming Works on L-1100 (Quay Road, Ballina)
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 and section 95 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, Mayo County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to implement traffic calming measures at the following locations:
Quay Road in front of Quay West Bar and Restaurant.
The proposed works comprise the construction of raised controlled crossings, drainage, footpath signage, line-marking and additional public lighting.
Drawings relating to the proposed works may be inspected:
at Ballina Civic Offices, Arran Place, Ballina, Co. Mayo from Wednesday 24th of September up until Friday 24th of October 2025 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
