Oweninny Community Benefit Fund Scheme 2024 - Category 3, small-scale capital projects, within Target Area.

Oweninny Power Designated Activity Company has developed a Windfarm at Oweninny, Bellacorrick Co. Mayo.  A Community Benefit Fund has been established as a condition of planning consent.

The Oweninny Community Benefit Fund Scheme is managed by Mayo County Council, who have established a representative Board of Directors to oversee the Governance of the Fund.

Applications are sought from clubs, associations, and other groups in the locality whose work will support community-based initiatives and improvement projects.

NOTE:-  This application refers only to funding under CATEGORY 3 – TARGET AREA - Small Scale Capital Projects – Maximum Grant €5,000.

Applications will be evaluated in line with the Qualifying Criteria in accordance with OCBF Guidelines 2024 – please read OCBF Guidelines 2024 before completing this Application Form. 

Mayo County Council’s Policy on community benefit contributions required for certain major developments will be adhered to.
