I would like to suggest:
- That Main Street be pedestrianised, this will allow the cafes, resturants and bars to have a decent outdoor area for dining and entertainment. Ideally there would be awnings so you could use the area in all weather.
- Increased bike parking in town including along Hopkins Road e.g. outside Argos.
- Zoning for serviced sites to build your own home.
- A network of off-road green networks that are also cycle/walkways through and around the town. It could utilise existing ways such as Davitt House, convent, GMIT, and new tracks e.g Saleen. The area around Saleen, Maryland, etc is in need of a good off-road amenity like the greenway or Lough Lannagh.
- A pedestrian crossing at the N5 buisness park.
